Enable automatic WhatsApp order confirmation

By the end of this page the confirmation template sends automatically after every order and replies land on the order.

Primary path

  1. Open Smart WhatsApp (/dashboard/whatsapp) and confirm an Active account exists.
  2. Click Settings to open the order-confirmation dialog.
  3. Enable automatic confirmation and pick ar or en.
  4. Click Save via POST /api/whatsapp/order-confirmation-settings.

What happens after enabling

  • The order_confirmation_ar or order_confirmation_en template sends fire-and-forget after order persistence with five variables.
  • Every send creates one WhatsAppOrderConfirmation row keyed by outboundMessageId.
  • Confirm protects stock, edit stores edit_requested, cancel releases stock then cancels only a non-terminal order.
  • The confirmation badge on /dashboard/orders shows only with a connected account.

Delivery requirement

  • A valid payment method on the WABA in Meta, otherwise Graph returns accepted with no delivery.
