Connect a shipping carrier
By the end of this page Connection settings saved appears and the selected carrier shows Connected & active.
Primary path
- Open Shipping Management (
/dashboard/shipping). - Open the Shipping Carrier Integrations tab. The heading Connection Settings appears.
- From Shipping Carriers pick a carrier (Bosta, Aramex, FedEx, or J&T Express). You can type in Search carriers or enable Connected only.
- Fields differ by carrier:
- Bosta: a help note appears, then API Key. Optional: Pickup location ID (optional).
- Aramex: Aramex email (UserName), Aramex account number, Account entity, Account country (ISO-2), Aramex password, and Account PIN.
- FedEx and J&T Express show their own fields plus a help note above the form.
- Optional: turn on Test Mode to use the sandbox environment before going live. For Bosta this uses the staging host.
- Click Save Settings until Connection settings saved appears. The badge becomes Connected & active.
- Click Test connection until Connection verified appears. The test uses saved values, so save first. For Bosta the test calls their cities service.
After save, secret fields are empty. Leave a secret blank with Leave blank to keep the current value if you are not replacing the key.
After Bosta is Connected & active, the Area mapping section appears. Map the store city to a Bosta city code such as EG-01 for Cairo.
Optional for Bosta: click Generate webhook token. Copy the token and the URL shown. In the Bosta dashboard set the header name to X-Vareons-Shipping-Token and paste the token as the value.
Disconnect
At the bottom of the card click Disconnect until Carrier disconnected appears. Status returns to Disconnected.
Note
Connecting a carrier does not change checkout shipping prices. Prices stay on the Shipping Prices tab.
