Enable your first payment gateway

By the end of this page at least one gateway is enabled, saved, and visible at checkout.

Primary path

  1. Open Settings → Commerce (/dashboard/settings?tab=commerce).
  2. Open Online payment gateways (cards).
  3. Choose a gateway (for example Paymob or Stripe).
  4. Turn on Enable Gateway.
  5. Enter the credential fields shown (for example API Key) from the provider dashboard.
  6. Click that gateway's Save button (each gateway has its own Save — not the Commerce Save payment rules button).
  7. Place a small test order in test mode when available.

Expected result

The gateway shows Enabled, and checkout shows the online payment method.

Security

Never publish secret keys in public screenshots. Use test keys before live keys.
