Enable a payment gateway

By the end of this page the gateway shows Enabled after Save.

Primary path

  1. Open Settings → Commerce (/dashboard/settings?tab=commerce).
  2. Open Online payment gateways (cards).
  3. Choose the gateway you need.
  4. Turn on Enable Gateway.
  5. Enter credential fields (for example API Key) from the provider dashboard.
  6. Click that gateway's Save only.
  7. Confirm the Enabled badge appears.

Expected result

Checkout shows the payment method for that gateway.

Important

Save payment rules at the bottom of Commerce saves other rules — not gateway keys. Each gateway has its own Save button.
