Create a mandatory discount

Primary path

1. Open Mandatory Discounts (/dashboard/mandatory-discounts).
2. Click New Mandatory Discount.
3. Fill Title.
4. Choose Type such as Percentage, Fixed Amount, Free Shipping, or Mandatory Gift.
5. Enter Value when the type needs it.
6. Set start/end dates and status (Active / Paused).
7. Save the form to create the discount.

Expected result

The discount appears in the Mandatory Discounts list and applies automatically to orders or products per the scope settings in the form.

Important difference from discount codes

A mandatory discount does not ask the customer to enter a code. Discount codes are managed from the regular Discounts page.
