Can a discount apply automatically without a code in Vareons?

An automatic discount is created by leaving the discount code field empty when creating the coupon: it applies when conditions match without the shopper entering any code. At order creation from checkout the system looks for active auto-apply coupons and applies the most suitable one to the order. Steps to create an automatic discount

1. Open the discount creation page and set type, value, eligibility rules, and validity.
2. Leave the code field empty so the coupon counts as automatic.
3. Save the coupon and confirm it appears active in the discounts list.
4. Test a qualifying order from the storefront and confirm the discount line shows in the total.

Protecting margin with automatic discounts
