Migrate to Vareons

    Migrate from Shopify to Vareons

A practical migration guide tied to verified Vareons capabilities. It does not claim an automatic Shopify importer unless that is documented as a separate claim.

Migration usually means rebuilding the catalog and payment/shipping settings on Vareons, then connecting the hosted store. Review the table and the Paymob, COD, and pricing answers before you execute.

    What typically transfers

What practically transfers is your business data: product names, prices, images, and customer records you export from Shopify. You then re-enter or upload them into the Vareons store. Documented local payment integrations (such as Paymob and COD) are enabled from the Vareons dashboard with your own credentials.

    What does not transfer

Shopify themes, App Store apps, and app settings do not carry over as-is. The current facts registry does not claim an automatic Shopify product migrator. Shopify API keys and webhooks do not transfer; you replace them with Vareons gateway settings.

    Caveats

Plan a short overlap window: pause new orders on Shopify after exporting inventory, and finish payment and shipping tests on Vareons before switching the domain or traffic. Any one-click migration promise outside the facts registry should be ignored here.

    Practical steps

    1. Export catalog and data from Shopify

Export products, customers, and historical orders using Shopify’s export tools. Keep CSV or reference files before you wind down the old store.

    2. Create the store and products on Vareons

Vareons includes a hosted online store and website editor (per the facts registry). Recreate products, inventory, and prices in the dashboard without assuming an automatic importer.

    3. Enable local payment gateways

From payment gateway settings, enable what you need such as Paymob and COD and enter credentials. Review the related answer pages for each gateway before launch.

    4. Connect shipping and pixels if needed

If you use Bosta or Meta Pixel, configure them from the Vareons dashboard per the verified answers. Test a trial order from checkout through shipping status.

    5. Switch traffic after testing

After a successful trial order, update links, campaigns, and domain gradually. Keep Shopify read-only until operations are stable on Vareons.
