The merchant copilot works through the chat interface with full per-store data isolation by session and a bounded tool loop: it reads store data through permission-checked tools and prepares edits without applying them directly. Mutations need explicit merchant confirmation, and plan policy can limit the available tool categories. The key source is platform or store-level depending on setup.
