Use cases

Pinning a different fixed price per country for one product

A merchant sells one product in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, and wants an EGP price at home plus two pinned SAR and AED prices that shield the margin from FX swings, instead of a Gulf price that moves daily with the exchange rate.

From the pricing tab of the product page the merchant fills the prices-by-country field with a fixed price per country, and that price wins over automatic conversion because it is a commercial decision. When the product is shown to a visitor from a country with a pinned price, the pinned price appears; otherwise the base price converts automatically. Pinned prices also appear in the dashboard product details view for review.
