Paid app suddenly stops: the thirty-day subscription expiry
A merchant bought an app, relied on it, then lost access to its route with no clear prior warning.
Why this happens
Because purchase through POST /api/apps/purchase with an idempotency key creates a fixed-term subscription, and access to the gated path is withdrawn when it lapses.
What Vareons does about it
The installed app card shows a localized Expires on date, the user profile refreshes after purchase, and the buy-and-activate button reactivates for a fresh thirty days.
- apps.marketplace.supported — Apps marketplace (install/open/uninstall): Available
- apps.finance.supported — Accounting (Finance) app: Available
Limitations
No automatic renewal is advertised; tracking it is on the merchant. Expiry disables access but does not erase the app's past data.
