Problems

Products missing from the Meta catalog despite a connected store

A merchant connected the Meta catalog from /dashboard/catalog-sync and the sync started, yet some products never appear in Meta Ads Manager while others sync fine.

Why this happens

Usually because the product is ineligible: draft or archived (UNPUBLISHED), hidden (HIDDEN), missing main image (MISSING_IMAGE), invalid price (INVALID_PRICE), or bad URL (INVALID_URL). Or because the product is excluded from sync scope (excludedProductIds or excludedCategoryIds), or because the connection itself is in an error state.

What Vareons does about it

Vareons shows a readiness strip with ready, needs-attention, and blocked counts plus product samples and block codes, and an issues table that appears only when errors exist with per-row retry, retry-all, and human messages (per the facts registry). Eligible items sync automatically on create, update, and delete.

  • marketing.catalog-sync.meta.supported Meta catalog sync support: Available
  • marketing.catalog-sync.readiness.supported Catalog readiness check support: Available

Limitations

The current facts registry does not claim that Vareons automatically repairs incomplete product data (such as generating images or prices). Fixes happen on the product page itself, then re-sync. Any future bulk-repair tools must be documented as separate claims before stating them here.
