Catalog connection token expiry stopping Meta or TikTok sync

Why this happens

Because platform tokens expire or get revoked: an authorization rejection from Meta or TikTok flips the connection to reauth_required, and the Meta token shows a warning chip at 7 days or less. Authorization errors are not fixed by ordinary retries because the credential itself — not the item — is the problem.

What Vareons does about it

Vareons surfaces the connection status, the token-expiry chip, and a reconnect action on the platform card (per the facts registry): Meta reconnects with a fresh OAuth click, TikTok by pasting a new valid token. Tokens are stored encrypted and never shown to the client.

Limitations

The current facts registry does not claim that Vareons silently renews Meta or TikTok tokens in the background. Reconnecting is a manual merchant action. Any future automatic renewal must be documented as a separate claim before stating it here.
