Migrate from Salla to Vareons

What typically transfers

What transfers is what you export from Salla: product and customer data roughly as files or sheets. You then reshape it in the hosted Vareons store. Gateways such as Paymob, Fawry, and COD, plus Bosta shipping, are configured from the Vareons dashboard with your credentials.

What does not transfer

Salla themes, apps, and their settings do not move as-is. The facts registry does not claim an automatic Salla importer. Any Salla-specific integration must be rebuilt on verified Vareons integrations.

Caveats

For Egypt merchants: test COD and local shipping before full launch. Do not treat unknown competitor cells in the table as confirmed facts. Review pricing caveats in the subscription answers.

Practical steps

1. Export data from Salla

   Export products, customers, and orders using the Salla tools available to you. Keep reference copies before you stop accepting new orders.

2. Build the store on Vareons

   Create pages and products in the hosted store and website editor. Do not assume Salla themes transfer; redesign within Vareons tools.

3. Configure local payments

   Enable Paymob, Fawry, and COD as needed from gateway settings, referring to the answer pages for each capability.

4. Connect shipping and tracking

   Configure Bosta or other verified carriers and Meta Pixel if needed, then run a full trial order.

5. Move campaigns and domain after stability

   Once payment and shipping are stable, move links and campaigns gradually. Keep Salla as a read-only reference until the transition window ends.
